Upcoming local startup eEvent bursts onto the international scene

In just the last week, some of Jakarta’s leading technology gurus have begun utilizing eEvent for their meetups, including the #StartupLokal Meetup v.8: Brand Image event. At the same time, local Columbus meeting and event planners are arranging their business and work-related gatherings, such as Your Management Team’s tax talk event ‘Series 5 Tips’ and the Asian Festival’s private holiday party. Talks are in progress for some much bigger events in Indonesia involving hundreds of thousands of people using eEvent’s scalable tools.

Today, voting opens for Event Solution magazine’s star-studded Las Vegas event,the Spotlight Awards. eEvent has just been named a finalist in the Technical Support Company of the Year category, which was a real surprise as the companies that have been chosen for this award in the past tend to be light and audio service providers. There’s never been a tech startup on the podium. eEvent's president, Andi Sie, is also up for a Rising Star award. (Our coverage here.)
