Zach Ferres, President And CEO Of BounceFire To Present At Global Student Entrepreneur Awards

Student Entrepreneur Selected for Southwest Regional USA Competition

BELLEVUE, Ohio (September 7, 2010) – Zach Ferres, president and CEO of BounceFire has been selected to present his business at the 2010 Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA) Regional Competition in Scottsdale, AZ. Ferres will compete against six other students before a panel of judges. The highest ranked winner of the competition will travel to compete at the 2010 GSEA Global Finals competition in Kansas City, Missouri.

“I am excited and honored to be representing a great school like Ohio Northern University (ONU), and our business, BounceFire,” says Ferres. “This is an incredible opportunity for me as a young entrepreneur, and it is great to have the support of the school and the community.”

Students will be judged on criteria such as the obstacles they have overcome, their grasp of business fundamentals, and their plans for growth in the future.

Ferres is a double major in computer science and mathematics with a minor in entrepreneurship at ONU. He is a strong advocate of entrepreneurship education. He started BounceFire in 2007 as a web hosting company but has since rebranded with a new focus in creating value-added websites for entrepreneurial businesses. The company’s new site launches September 21, 2010.
